Janmashtami celebration

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at The LAKHANI School on 23rd August, 2019 with mirth and joy. The fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of camphor and the jingle of bells filled the air. While this religious importance is not lost, this day signifies a lot more to modern India, it signifies excitement, euphoria and a joyous spirit of enthrallment.
To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, The School took the opportunity to both jubilate and learn with the young minds. The students dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha, complete with flutes, peacock feathers and matkas. The premise was decorated beautifully and the spirit of festivity was enhanced with Jhankis depicting life history of Lord Krishna. The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educating.

The Pre- Primary Students and Students of class I to IV performed dances. The main attraction of the event was breaking of the treasure filled Matkis by the students of class V TO X.

The students enjoyed the day very much.

Fit India Movement

Students of Grade I to X witnessed live telecast of “Fit India Movement” launched by honourable Prime Ministers Mr. Narendra Modi on the occasion of ‘National Sports Day’.

Carom competition

Carom is one of the most popular indoor games in India. Once treated a pastime game limited to children and ladies, it is now played at competitive levels in an organized manner. It is a scientific game and is based on Physics and Geometry. It requires thorough knowledge of angles, deftness of touch, keen sight and superlative control of nerves besides mental and physical fitness. It also requires skill and deep concentration.
LAKHANI ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL, had organized Inter-house Carrom Competition on 31st August ’2019.
Congratulations !! to the Sports Sir Mr.Vijay Patel for organising Carom Competition in the school for the first time.
All the participants played very well. Excellent sportsmanship and team spirit were the highlights of the event.
